This is the first of three songbooks compiled by Professor Thom from Escola de Capoeira (E.CA) – Belgium, under the guidance of Mestre Djop Barbosa and is meant as a learning tool. The songs in this book are geared towards beginners and includes common songs, often short, and easy to learn. Each song has a reference to the CD and artist of that CD. The lyrics found here thus correspond with the lyrics from the matching song found on that CD. You can also find these songs on CD’s of various other masters, though they might be slightly different. The artist does not always equal the original author.
